Why I'm building Helio
If you've walked by recently, you've probably noticed there's still a lot happening behind these windows.
That's because Helio is being built with intention. Every decision—from the treatment rooms to the technology inside them—has been made to create a space centered around recovery, rejuvenation, and long-term health.
My name is Elizabeth, and before starting Helio, I spent more than a decade working in biotechnology and cell therapy. Throughout my career, I saw incredible technologies being developed, yet many remained largely confined to research labs or elite athletic facilities.
I created Helio because I believe evidence-based therapies should be more accessible. We begin with full-body red and near-infrared light therapy, but that's only the first chapter. As Helio grows, we'll continue introducing thoughtfully selected therapies that share the same purpose: helping people recover, rejuvenate, and invest in their long-term health.

Why Red Light Therapy?
Before Helio had a name, I knew one thing: whatever we built would be grounded in science, thoughtfully selected, and designed to support the body rather than work against it.
Red and near-infrared light therapy became the natural place to begin. It has been studied for its potential role in supporting cellular energy, recovery, skin health, circulation, and overall wellness, while remaining simple enough to become part of an everyday routine.
That same philosophy extends to the technology we've chosen. Rather than relying on a single wavelength, our full-body systems combine nine carefully selected red and near-infrared wavelengths to deliver a broader spectrum of light—because supporting the body isn't one-dimensional, and neither is the light we use.
More importantly, light reflects everything Helio stands for: thoughtfully selected technologies, evidence over trends, and treatments designed to help people recover, rejuvenate, and invest in their long-term health.
That's why we begin with light. Not because it's the only therapy we believe in—but because it's the right place to start.
